3/27/24 – This is a nice example of an Italian Model 1891 Carcano Rifle from 1897. All matching with a matching stock and an 1897-dated cartouche on the left side of the butt stock. There is very little finish loss on the metal parts, but there are areas of light spotty oxidation and pin-pricking throughout. Excellent wood furniture. The bore is shiny with great rifling.
