10/3/23 – This is an excellent example of a Swedish Carl Gustafs Model 1894/14 Carbine, manufactured in 1907. The rear sight and butt plate are mismatched. The gun comes with a period-correct bayonet, scabbard, leather frog, and leather sling. The bluing on the metal rates about 93-94% with general high edge wear and some thinning on the floor plate. Spotty oxidation on the butt plate. Excellent wood stock with a small wood repair against the right side of the receiver. The bore has good rifling, but there is very light pin-pricking throughout.
