Description
8/17/23 – This is an original 1915 dated Artillery Luger holster from WW1. The holster comes with an original Imperial proofed stock with leather holster attachment hardware, cleaning rod, and tool. The holster is in great condition, near excellent with some mild surface wear from typical aging and use. Under the closure strap is a crisp maker marking and date. The interior leather shows signs of use and is stamped with a distributor code in Roman numerals. The included luger tool is unmarked fits nicely in the designated pouch. The cleaning rod has some mild discoloration and some surface rust at the tip. The wood handle is fixed in place but in great shape. The leather rod pouch is in excellent condition. The stitching and leather throughout the holster is original and completely in tact. The stock has no cracks or chips, but there is mild surface rust and patina on the female metal attachment end. This piece is also serial numbered “1567k”. The leather harness straps are in great condition and completely intact, although the closure knobs have light surface rust and patina. A very nice, near excellent condition grouping.
