Description
4/8/26- For sale is a 1916 dated German sawback bayonet. The blade has noticeable patina along with a few spots of surface corrosion, a bit of grinding or sharpening, and one or two blade chips. The base of the blade is stamped with “R. Stock & Co. BERLIN-MARIENFELDE” and the spine of the blade has an imperial proof and the year 16. The wood grips have some wear and light chipping but no serious damage or cracking. The scabbard has some patina and about three dents in the front surface but no serious damage or signs of deep rust. Overall in good condition.
