Description
10/4/23 – This is a nice commercial Colt Government Model 1911 from 1917. It has a mismatched military-pattern slide and an un-marked barrel. The finish on both the slide and frame is original and rates roughly 70%. There is noticeable thinning on the front strap and along the slide. A couple of areas of tiny pitting on the slide. Nice period-correct wood grips. Comes with a post-war magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is very light pin-pricking throughout.
