Description
5/6/25 – Really nice 1917 DWM Navy luger reworked during the Weimar era. This 1917 Navy was sent to a police arsenal and fitted with a new barrel, and had several parts replaced/numbered. It retains about 92-93% of the original finish. The bore is excellent. All the numbered parts are matching, and most of the finish appears to be original. It was not fitted with the magazine or sear safety, and it also didn’t receive the ‘1920’ property stamp which is quite unusual for post WW1 police reworks. After rework, the pistol was sent to the Schutzpolizei in Düsseldorf. Has a correct, period police magazine that is only 29 numbers apart. The bore shows very light pin-pricking throughout.
