1/15/26 – This is a minty Swedish Carl Gustafs Model 1896 rifle from 1917. It is entirely matching. Import mark on the barrel. The right side of the butt stock shows the original brass disc. There is a sticker with what we assume to be a rack number, “81”. The metal parts have retained about 97% of their original finish with just minimal muzzle wear. The wear is mainly around the muzzle and along the barrel. Really nice fire blue on some of the small parts. Excellent wood furniture with just a few scratches and marks here and there – most noticeable on the underside of the butt stock. Mint bore.
