Description
11/6/23 – This is a nice example of an Enfield SMLE III rifle issued to the British military in 1918. The gun is all matching, but the receiver appears to have been re-numbered – likely done at an arsenal. No visible numbering on the stock. There is very little finish loss, but there is pin-pricking under the bluing throughout – likely arsenal refinished. Excellent wood furniture. Mint bore.
