Description
3/16/26- For sale is a 1918 dated German butcher blade bayonet. The blade has notable patina and wear, including a spot or two of light pitting. The blade is marked with the “Ernst Busch Solingen” manufacturer mark. There is some evidence of blade sharpening. The spine is stamped with an imperial crown and “18” for 1918. The wood grips have light wear but are intact with no serious damage. The scabbard is blued and has several smaller dents and dings but the blade still fits easily into the scabbard. The scabbard is marked “Waffenfabrik Mauser”. Overall in good condition.
