3/1/23 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1936. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is wear around the muzzle and very minor wear on the side plate. Very minor thinning on the back strap. There is some splotchy discoloration around the chamber and on the left side of the barrel. Very minor pin-pricking along the barrel and on both grip straps. A couple of tiny dings on the front strap. Fitted with a very nice set of un-numbered wood grips – tiny chip in the upper corner of the left side. Comes with a mismatched but period-correct “Eagle 63” proofed magazine. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with minor pitting throughout.
