Description
8/25/23 – This is a nice example of a Carcano Carbine, issued to the Italian military in 1939. Only numbered parts are the receiver and stock, which are matching. The metal parts have retained about 95% of their finish. There are some light scratches here and there and some spotty wear around the muzzle and front barrel band. The top of the receiver appears to be buffed and refinished. Some light surface rust on the sling swivel. The wood furniture shows minor dings and scratches throughout. Excellent, shiny bore with great rifling.
