Description
5/5/23 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1939. All matching with the proper “Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 94% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is in the form of thinning on the grip straps, so the profile views are excellent. Very minor wear around the muzzle and on the side plate. Light spotty oxidation on the back strap. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is some pitting on the very edges of the frame, under the grips. The grips likely held moisture up against the metal. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. Comes with a mismatched police-style magazine. Minty bore.
