3/18/24 – This is a nice example of a Terni Carcano Carbine issued to the Italian military in 1940. Chambered in 6.5x52mm. No import marks. The metal parts have retained roughly 80% of their finish with splotchy discoloration throughout. The wood furniture is excellent but has been lightly sanded. Small hairline crack on the upper handguard in front of the rear barrel band. There is a serial number on the left side of the butt stock, but it is illegible. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with pitting and surface oxidation throughout. Comes with one magazine clip.
