Description
8/7/24 – This is a near-excellent condition 1941 dated Police Luger holster. These wartime police examples are fairly scarce, especially in this condition. The holster has all black leather and stitching, with all original stitching tight and intact. The leather is firm with mild pliability and shows normal signs of previous use and age. There’s mild wrinkling on the front leather and closure strap, but no excessive cracking or blemishes. Some minor scuffing on the front leather as shown in photos. The back leather is clean with a crisp maker stamp, “A. Fischer Berlin C.2” 1941 date stamp, and a crisp (mint) police eagle proof stamp with a visible “B” within the eagle’s breast. The interior leather is clean with some serial numbers handwritten on the interior leather. Steel closure stud shows natural surface patina. Overall a high-end police holster that’s very well marked.
