6/14/23 – This is a very nice example of a BYF 42 “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. It comes with a set of original black bakelite “Black Widow” grips and an original “Black Widow” magazine. The gun itself has retained about 94% of its original finish. There are areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the front edges of the side rails. An area of very light scratching on the left side of the frame. Tiny initials “CB” stamped into the metal at the very base of the front strap. Mint bore.
