06/10/26 – For sale is an early M1 Carbine made by Inland in 1942. The carbine was rearsenaled after the war and was issued to the Austrian Gendarmerie in the OberoÖsterreich (Upper Austria) region. The receiver and barrel have a nice dark rearsenaled parkerized finish, while the trigger guard has a plum finish. The stock shows handling wear but no cracks or breaks. There is a “974, W and a flaming bomb stamped in the sling well. The bore is bright with good rifling. The barrel is marked Inland 11-43. The rifle is a mix of parts variations and makers, so it is not parts correct.
