3/18/26 – This is a very nice example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It is all correct and has the proper “HS” High Standard barrel. It comes as a rig with US marked leather holster, a green canvas belt, and an “S” marked magazine. The gun has retained about 93% of its original parkerized finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and very minor thinning on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
