Description
12/1/23 – This is a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the German military in August of 1944. All matching with the proper “Eagle 88” military acceptance proofs. There are two “asterisk” markings on the slide, indicating it failed factory inspection twice and was repaired. The original wartime finish rates roughly 85%. There is obvious finish loss on the front strap and spotty discoloration on the whole left side of the gun. Fitted with blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with a period-correct jvd magazine. The bore has good rifling with just minor pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
