4/17/24 – This is a fantastic example of a very early and desirable Colt SP1 that predates the Vietnam War. The production date of this rifle is 1965. This rifle is original, with around 99% finish remaining and minor surface scuffingÄîno notable finish loss. The carry handle is drilled and taped for the correct Colt scope mount. The early barrel is marked ’12’ on the underside, indicating it has the 1×12 inch twist. Three prong flash hider is present, as is bayonet lug. Early triangular handguards and early style buttstock, with no provisions for internal storage. Two piece buffer tube with chrome bolt face. Bore has strong rifling and a light frosting towards the muzzle, and C&R is eligible.
