8/23/24 – This is a very nice example of a 2nd model Luftwaffe dagger made by WKC in Solingen Germany.Both the scabbard and the handle have no dents. The light orange celluloid grip does have a few nicks and one small crack toward the top of the grip by the pommel and still maintains it’s complete wire wrap. The polished blade shows standard wear from the scabbard and does exhibit gray shadowing. The edge of the blade has no chips and does not show any signs of being sharpened.This dagger comes with it’s original Luftwaffe hanger made by Assman. The buckles on the hanger are embellished with oakleaves.The fabric of the hanger has minor frayingbut does still have its original felt backing.
