Description
3/23/23 – This is an earlier WW2 production Mauser Field / Armory replacement Luger magazine. The magazine has a nickel tube and aluminum base. The base is “42” code stamped for field replacement designation. There’s a 3 digit serial number underneath, with the final digit being an upside-down “4”. This is likely an armory error, either done by a field arsenal or police arsenal when the magazine was re-issued to a pistol. The tube has some light surface patina throughout but no rust or pitting. The spring is fully functional with smooth action.
