5/4/23 – This is an early WW1 production, Type 1 Snail Drum Luger magazine by AEG. The magazine comes with a period correct dust cover as shown. The dust cover has surface patina and finish loss throughout, but no rust or pitting. No markings or stamps either. The magazine has around 90% of the original blued finish still intact, with dark surface patina throughout the magazine tube, and spots of finish loss and patina on the top and bottom of the drum. The winding arm is tight and functional, with mild surface patina as well. The top and bottom of the drum are matching numbered, and the bottom is also AEG maker stamped. The tube is Imperial proof stamped near the feed ramp. Holds 32 rounds of 9mm. The spring is strong and functional.
