Description
3/21/24 – This gun was put together between the wars and even though it is dated 1920 it could have been made a bit after that – called an “alphabet gun”.It consists of DWM parts and at least one Erfurt part but most likely assembled in a munitions arsenal between the wars.Part of the mystery is the blank toggle. Weimar-era Eagle proofs on the slide. All parts are matching including the hold open and firing pin, as well as the grips.Only the wood bottom magazine is mismatched. The gun was most likely refinished when it was reworked after WW1.
