1/8/25 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 38 Carbine issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is completely matching and has a fully intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. The metal parts have retain about 94-95% of their original bluing. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is some light oxidation on the front portion of the barrel and on the floor plate / trigger group. No major damage to the wood furniture, but it shows obvious signs of use and abuse. Very nice bore with good rifling.
