Description
4/7/25 – This is an original and beautiful example of a military Colt Model 1911 from 1914.One of ~30,000 produced that year, this pistol retains 97-98% of the original blue with only minor high edge wear on the slide and light thinning on the mainspring housing. While there is very little bluing loss, there are a few minor spots of oxidation and pinpricking on the slide.Correct Colt barrel with disconnected and horizontal ‘P H’ markings.Terrific wooden grips with sharp checkering.Strong, clean bore.Later WW1 two-tone mag.
