7/30/25 – The following are an outstanding example of 7×50 Fixed Focus Kriegsmarine Armored Binoculars that were manufactured by blc, the German government code for Carl Zeiss Jena. There is evidence of heavy wear on these binoculars and it appears that they have been either re-painted or stippled. There is slight chipping of the paint throughout the binoculars. There are rubber covers near the eyepieces and the base and the rubber is soft and malleable. The lenses are spectacularly clear and the hinges that open and close the binoculars are smooth and maneuver freely. Right side by the eye piece is stamped “7×50”, “40053”, “blc”.
