Description
3/1/23 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket manufactured in 1938 and chambered in .25 ACP. This one is matching and comes with a period-correct box, one proper magazine, and owners manual. The sides of the box are a bit tattered. The box is numbered faintly on the underside and appears to be matching to the gun. The gun itself has retained about 90% of its original finish. Areas of light, somewhat scratchy wear on the front strap and along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Some dulling in the finish on the right side of the gun. Some thinning and freckling on the grip safety. Excellent case-hardening on the trigger and safety lever. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips. Mint bore.
