Description
7/28/23 – This is a nice example of a Jules Kaufman double action top-break revolver manufactured for the Brazilian government in 1897. The gun is dated 1897 on the left side of the receiver and has an 1867 serial number on the right side. All matching with Liege proofs throughout. The original lanyard ring on the butt of the frame is missing. There isn’t a ton of actual finish loss, but there is noticeable brown patina and spotty oxidation covering the whole gun. Some areas of minor pitting here and there. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips. The bore has strong rifling for the most part with a few areas of pitting.
