6/4/24 – This is a minty example of a Smith & Wesson Pre-Victory revolver that was part of the British/Australian Lend-Lease Program during WW2 – issued to the British or Australian military. It is all matching, marked “United States Property” on the top strap, and has “WB” and flaming bomb military proofs on the butt of the frame. It comes fitted with hand-engraved wood grips that feature the silhouette of a nude woman on both sides. The gun has retained virtually all of its bluing, just a hint of a roll mark on the cylinder. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Mint bore.
