9/9/24 – This is an excellent example of a WW2 No.4 Mk2 Lee Enfield bayonet, The bayonet maintains most of it’s original finish on the mounting point with some thinning on the high spots. The blade on the bayonet is in excellent condition and has not been sharpened. The scabbard for this bayonet appears to have been painted black at some point over the dark bluing finish. The black paint is still present but is chipping away. Additionally, there are a few small dents and nicks in the scabbard but none that are effecting the functionality of the scabbard.The canvas frog is in excellent condition as well and has no tearing in the fabric.
