12/1/23 – This is an original Itallian M91 Carcano carbine rifle. This example was manufactured by Brescia in 1918. The original bluing finish on the barrel is mostly intact, with slight edge wear on the muzzle. We rate the barrel finish at 85%, and overall finish around 75%. The bore has a bit of pitting but has strong rifling; we rate it 7.5/10. The wood stock shows a fair amount of handling wear throughout but has solid structural integrity.The stock shows a clear cartouche and the serial number is stamped into the stock. The outer metal of the internal magazine housing shows edge wear with a light patina on the exposed metal. The receiver has light finish wear, mostly around the edges.
