Description
4/4/23 – This is an excellent example of a Swedish Carl Gustafs Mauser Model 96/38 rifle. It was originally manufactured in 1899, but by nature these guns were all later modified and converted. This one has a threaded barrel to receive a blank firing device around the muzzle. All matching with the proper Swedish proofs throughout. Generally, the metal parts have retained somewhere between 85-90% of their finish. There is very light spotty wear on the receiver and general thinning on most of the parts. The stock is minty. It is not numbered, but there is a Swedish crown proof around the wrist. Minty bore. Import mark on the right side of the barrel.
