05/30/2024 – For sale is a 1943 Remington Rand 1911A1. This handgun shows some thinning to the finish throughout. The cross cannon stamp is slightly faded on the rear of the frame. The barrel is stamped HS for High Standard. The bore is bright but frosted over and has good rifling. The magazine is unmarked. Comes with a CMP pistol case, a pistol lock, a 1911 maintenance manual from the Dept of the Army, and the original CMP order tied to this pistol.
