02/06/26 – For sale is a St Etienne Mle 1886 M93 Lebel made in 1888. The rifle retains a nicely aged bluing iwth patina and light surface scuffs. Small prickling of corrosion on the bottom and right side of the receiver. The stock shows heavy handling and dents but no breaks. The forend has “R.Haggy” scratched into the bottom and a border of X’s. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Some oxidation towards the muzzle. The bayonet lug appears to have been sheared off. The rifle mostly matches itself but the forend is mismatched.
