4/24/23 – This is a minty example of a WW2-era 1911A1 that was originally issued to the US military. It was later reworked and sold to the public as a part of the CMP Program. The slide was made by Remington Rand. The frame was made by Ithaca and dates to 1945. Flannery barrel. “ANAD” arsenal marking on the right side of the frame. The gun comes with a really nice CMP-issued Pelican-style hard case, a reproduction owners manual, and gun lock. It also comes with a set of nice WW2-era grips and one WW2-era “L” marked magazine. The gun itself has been completely arsenal refurbished and refinished. The finish is beautiful. There are virtually no signs of wear except for one very light scratch on the right side of the slide.
