Description
9/23/21 – This is a rare and highly desirable Colt 1911 that went to the U.S. Navy in 1913.There were only about 16,000 Navy-issued 1911s from 1912-18, and only 6,000 in 1913.The major parts such as slide and frame are correct/original but the finish was restored at some point after the war.It does not have any arsenal re-work marks, but the barrel was also replaced at some point as the intertwined PH marking was used later in WW1.Strong, shiny bore.Excellent grips with only minor handling wear.Two-tone magazine with lanyard ring.
