Description
3/23/26 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver from 1858. It is completely matching (including the barrel wedge), has a 4″ barrel, and is chambered in .31 Caliber. There is a stagecoach robbery scene on the cylinder (the visibility is better than most you’ll see, ~90%). Overall, it is in nice condition for its age, but the finish is virtually entirely worn. Fitted with period-correct wood grips – just one tiny chip in the bottom right corner of the right panel. The bore has decent rifling, but there is spotty oxidation throughout. Fully functional. No FFL required.
