2/20/23 – This is an original WW2 era production Utility Knife by EG Waterman. These knives were often used by the US Navy as a utility / fighting knife. This blade features a hooked groove at the base of the edge, and a sawback utility blade as shown. The ricasso is maker stamped “EGW Knife”. No other markings. The blade has mild surface patina and some dark discoloration but no major issues and an excellent clean edge. The wood handle shows use and handling wear but no major issues. Comes with an unmarked leather sheath as shown.
