9/26/23 – This is an original WW2 era M1916 leather holster for the M1911a1 pistol. The holster is in great overall condition with soft leather that has normal pliability and signs of use and aging. There’s some mild surface stains on the front leather, and the interior leather is clean. All original stitching is tight and intact throughout. The front leather is “US” stamped, and the back leather is maker stamped “Enger-Kress”.
