12/1/20 – This is a rare Smith & Wesson Model 66 Combat Magnum revolver with 2.5 inch barrel.There were only about 2,500 of this variation produced, and this one was custom engraved at some point by a professional.It comes with a S&W certificate and the S&W archives letter.The gun is near-mint condition with just a hint of a roll mark on the cylinder and a minty bore.The S&W letter states this gun was shipped in February of 1976 with 2.5 inch barrel, satin finish and checkered walnut grips.Given the scarcity of the model itself and pair it with the quality of the custom engraving, it’s likely you won’t see another one like this.
