7/29/24 – This is an excellent example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial German military proofs. It comes as a rig with a very nice 1917-dated holster, an un-marked tool, and a mismatched magazine. The closure strap on the holster is a bit brittle. The gun itself has retained about 96-97% of its original finish. There is just some minor high edge wear, minor wear around the muzzle, and light freckling on the grip straps. Fitted with minty un-numbered wood grips. Very nice bore with great rifling – just some very light frosting in the grooves.
