3/31/23 – This is an excellent example of an Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. All matching with the proper Imperial proofs. This one comes as a rig with an original matching-numbered stock, original matching-numbered magazine, a very nice 1917-dated black leather holster, original tan leather harness, a reproduction front sight tool, and a reproduction cleaning rod. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its finish with the majority of the wear is on the back strap, but there are hints of wear around the muzzle and on the high edges. Minty matching-numbered wood grips – tiny chip in upper corner of the left grip panel. Unfortunately, there is a chip in the wood magazine bottom, but the matching number is still visible.
