Description
3/15/24 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Kriegsmarine in 1940. It is all matching, has the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs, and has an “N 4316” Navy property marking on the back strap. It comes with a magazine that has the matching Navy property marking but a mismatched serial number. The gun itself has retained about 95% of its original finish. Minor wear around the muzzle, on the high edges, and on the left side of the barrel. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered and “Eagle 655” proofed wood grips. The bore is very shiny with strong rifling, but there is some light freckling in the grooves.
