6/10/25 – Original and excellent condition. This is an Egyptian, Mansoura Cairo 54 Training Rifle. The Cairo 54 is often referred to as a “Maadi” or “Mansoura”, produced at Factory 54 in Cairo. It’s a copy or closely patterned rifle based on the Czech BRNO Model 2 training rifle. This particular rifle is chambered in .22 Long Rifle with a 24-3/4″ barrel. The bore rates a strong 8 of 10 with very good rifling, and features a removable front sight cover. The finish rates a good 95 – 98%. The wood furniture only has minor handling marks with no chips or cracks. It includes an original 6 round magazine and leather sling. Smooth operation and fully functional. There is a small import mark on the right side of the rear sight.
