2/29/24 – This is an excellent example of a G.43 issued to the Nazi military during WW2. Manufactured by Berlin Lubecker in 1944. It is all matching with the proper military acceptance proofs. This one is in a sniper rifle configuration with a period-correct ZF4 scope (excellent, clear optics) and a high quality reproduction scope mount. Also comes with lens caps, a period-correct leather sling, and one proper magazine. The metal parts are excellent and have retained nearly all of their original finish. The wood stock shows minimal signs of wear. It has a proper reddish phenolic resin upper handguard. Some light spotty oxidation on the butt plate. The bore has strong rifling, but there is light spotty surface oxidation throughout.
