7/28/23 – This is an excellent example of a rare Walther Mod P.38 sold in the commercial market during WW2. This one is all matching and has the proper “Eagle N” proofs. This gun is rare as only 1,800 were produced. It has retained nearly all of its original finish. The bluing on the frame has a nice plum tint to it. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is light spotty oxidation along the barrel, on the underside of the frame, and on the front strap. Some tiny scratches here and there. A few tiny pits along the right side of the slide. Fitted with excellent reddish bakelite grips. Comes with a waffen-proofed P.38 magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
