7/11/23 – This is an excellent example of a Walther Model 5. This one has a late serial number, which puts its date of production in the early 1920’s. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs. “Made in Germany” export marking on the right side of the frame. It has retained about 96-97% of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle and high edges in general. Minor freckling on the grip straps. Fitted with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with one proper magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
