Description
9/6/24 – This is a Colt Model 1877 Double Action “Thunderer” Revolver, manufactured in 1881 and chambered in .41 Caliber. It is all matching and has a factory-nickel finish. The nickel plating rates roughly 50% with areas of noticeable finish loss, tiny pitting, and spotty oxidation throughout. Comes fitted with hard rubber grips. The rifling in the bore is decent but there is obvious surface oxidation and minor pitting throughout. Unfortunately, the sear was damaged and removed, so the gun only works in double action. The original sear comes with the gun, but is not installed. No FFL required.
