3/20/25 – This is an excellent example of a Belgian FN Browning Model 1910. All matching with the proper Belgian proofs. This one also has Austrian proofs on the left side of the slide, “NPV”, Austrian Eagle, and “5363.14”. In the 1910’s and 20’s, every German or Belgian gun exported to Austria had to be proofed again according to Austrian laws. This happens to be exported to Austria for commercial sale. The number under the proofs indicates this was gun number 5363 proofed in 1914. It comes as a rig with a rare minty commercial pebble grain holster and one magazine. The gun has retained about 97% of its finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are small dots of discoloration with tiny pits along both sides of the slide. Fitted with period-correct horn grips – crack on the left side. Excellent bore.
