Description
1/5/24 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2. The gun is all matching, has a French star on the right side of the slide, and has a Nazi waffen proof on the barrel. Fitted with desirable French “Gray Ghost” grips. It comes as a rig with a 1960-dated Czech CZ 52 holster (fits this gun well) and two post-war magazines. The gun has retained about 96% of its finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is noticeable oxidation and pitting on the right side of the slide. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
